The XXVII. Semperhof Dresden International Annual Celebration was held on April 29, 2023 at the Landhotel Bad Dürrenberg. The event welcomed participants with an engaging and diverse programme featuring friendly conversations, humorous performances, and musical presentations.
We are indebted to the team at the Land Hotels Bad Dürrenberg for their hospitality, as well as the organizational team for their tireless efforts in making this event a success.
On September, the 26th the annual members' meeting took place in Gotha. The former Executive Board and the Advisory Board gave an account of their work in a constructive and warm atmosphere. The re-election of the Executive Board was in focus as well as the planning of the XXV. SemperhofGedenktag, which will take place in London, despite Corona-Crisis and Brexit, to send a signal of joy, hope and international understanding. The previous Executive Board and Advisory Board were confirmed in their respective offices with a large majority. Semperhof thanks the Executive Board and the Advisory Board for their great commitment and the management of our association, especially in times of social upheaval.
XOn March, the 7th in 2020 the XXIV. International Semperhof Memorial Day took place in Marienfeld. With the motto: "Rather together than alone!" members of the Semperhof presented a culturally challenging and ambitious program. Critical aspects of the political day-to-day business were at the center of the discussions as well as possible solutions from education and culture of our society.
The side program included a field trip in the local environment, followed by some exchange of experience among the participants.
We would like to thank the organizers, Linda and Tobias Becker, as well as the owner of the Landgasthof and hotel "Altes Bauernhaus", Mr. Arno Knobbe and his staff.
On October, the 19th the annual members' meeting took place in Gotha. The former Executive Board and the Advisory Board gave an account of their work in a constructive and warm atmosphere. In particular focus was the planning of the XXIV. SemperhofGedenktag.
On March, the 2nd in 2019 the XXIII. International Semperhof Memorial Day hosted by the elected chairman Tobias Becker took place in Bad Frankenhausen.
With the motto: "Thinking Drinking Acting!" members of the Semperhof presented a culturally challenging
and ambitious program. Sunny weather and a picturesque landscape invited the members to hiking tours
with refreshing conversations on culture and society

as well as the team of the hotel “Thüringer Hof”, who patiently and friendly took care for all wishes of our club.
On October, the 20th the annual members' meeting took place in Gotha.
The former Executive Board and the Advisory Board gave an account of their work in a constructive and warm atmosphere.
In particular focus were the election of the new Executive Board with Tobias Becker as our new Chairman and Zhanna Scheftner
as well as Dirk Stelte as Vice Chairwoman and Vice Chairman as well as the planning of the XXIII. SemperhofGedenktag,
which will take place in Bad Frankenhausen on March, the 1st 2019.
On April, the 29th in 2018 the XXII. International Semperhof Memorial Day took place in Haidhof. With the motto: "On Friendship!" members of the Semperhof presented a culturally challenging and ambitious program. Sunny weather and a picturesque landscape invited the members to hiking tours with refreshing conversations on culture and society Semperhof is proud to welcome Rebecca Bourne, Nadine Scharff, Arne Kallmeyer as new members. We would like to thank the organizer, Reiner Gubitz, as well as the team of the hotel “Schlossberg”, who patiently and friendly took care for all wishes of our club./p>
On October, the 21st the annual members' meeting took place in Gotha. The Executive Board and the Advisory Board gave an account of their work in a constructive and warm atmosphere. In particular focus was the planning of the XXII. SemperhofGedenktag which will take place in Gräfenberg near Nuremberg on April, the 30th 2018. The newly designed web page is going to be online within the next few months. Anne Zimmer, Elias Zimmer and Arne Kallmeyer were welcomed as "Friend of the Semperhof". All of them are distinguished by their undivided consent to the ideals of the SHDI and fulfilling them in their social circles.
A 3-member delegation of the SHDI has been visiting Shanghai, Whuna and Suzhou in the past two weeks.
Our friend and representative, Franz Le Wei, gave a cordial welcome to the delegation as the tour guide.
The tour program included a visit of the more than 632m tall Shanghai Tower, a visit to the Bund and Nanjing Lu as well a trip to Wuhan to a Buddha temple ensemble. Also the traditional city of Suzhou was visited,
where the delegation had a walk in China's fourth largest garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden.
All members of the tour were impressed by the friendliness and dynamic of the new China.
